The Sound Start Babies Team is comprised of full and part-time professionals across a variety of disciplines and paraprofessionals with training, interest, and/or experience in working with very young children with hearing loss and their families. Teacher of the Deaf & Hard of Hearing
Sound Start Babies is seeking a Teacher of the Deaf to join a dynamic and talented group of EI professionals. Candidates should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills and be comfortable providing services in home, community settings, via telehealth and our center based nursery location. Experience working with infants and toddlers is preferred but new graduates are encouraged to apply. NJ state certification required. DOH approval for EI provider a plus. Compensation depends on experience and will be discussed during the interview. Speech-Language Pathologist

Classroom Paraprofessional/Teacher's Aide
The Sound Start Babies Program is seeking substitute paraprofessional classroom aides to join our team in our award winning nursery program. Children attending the nursery program are 18 months – 3 years of age, with and without hearing loss. Duties for this position will include assisting teachers with classroom lessons, supervision of children and attending to basic childcare needs on an as needed basis.
